RON HOPKINS

Ron Hopkins has worked with the UK Institute for Business Technology for twenty four years.

As operations director he spent 11 years overseeing IBT’s broad consulting activities, including the delivery & sales of The Personal Efficiency Program, PEP®.

He has coached senior executives across a wide range of industries, global and UK FTSE organisations including Pharmaceutical, Insurance, Investment Banking, Retail, Telecoms, Marketing Communications, and Light Manufacturing.

He has designed and implemented various corporate vision programmes, vision & values initiatives, some including their respective company-wide communication techniques, for banks, retailers and one of the world’s largest advertising agencies. In recent years he designed the performance management training modules, including team leadership, for a major investment bank and has personally worked with senior teams at other well known financial institutions.

His personal consulting & coaching has particularly focused on team development, team leadership and team relationships. In 2007 & 2008 his Team Effectiveness assignments included both coaching and training work in quality management, executive time management,  high performance teamwork in business-continuity-management, and a train-the-trainer programme for a global telecoms company in Egypt. 2009 has seen executive coaching work in pharmaceuticals, investment banking, UK building societies & the Department of Health.

In 2010 he is scheduled to assist in the development of PEP®worldwide Scandinavia’s Nordic Academy.

He also teaches performance coaching. (the two day ‘Manager As Coach’ programme, sponsored by IBTUK, IBT Iceland & IBT Scandinavia is available to the general public).

He is the author of ‘How to Survive the Information Age at Work’, published by Management Books 2000 & Jaico Publishing, India, 2006. His book ‘Team Excellence’ will be released in late 2010.
